Programme Overview

SIDS recognizes that sustainable livelihoods and economic empowerment are essential for reducing poverty and improving the well-being of vulnerable communities. Through this programme, we support households, women, youth, and pastoral communities to strengthen their economic resilience, increase productivity, and build sustainable sources of income.

Our interventions focus on promoting climate-smart agriculture, livestock development, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and skills development to enable communities to achieve food security and economic independence.

Goal

To improve household incomes, strengthen economic resilience, and promote sustainable livelihoods among vulnerable communities in Amudat District and the cross-border regions.

🌾 Sustainable Agriculture

We promote modern and climate-smart farming practices that improve agricultural productivity and food security.
